Millennials (those born 1981-1995) are the fastest growing generation in the workforce today. Last year, they represented close to one-third of the Canadian Labour Force. By next year, Millennials will outnumber Baby Boomers in the workforce.
A recent RealityCheksm survey conducted by Canadian Management Centre in February 2014 showed that over 54% of respondents felt that Millennials are the most challenging generation to lead and engage. That’s a troubling statistic – made only more bothersome by this reality; the Millennial you find challenging to lead and engage today, could well be your boss tomorrow.
