Who Should Attend

Project Managers, Resource Managers, Project schedulers or anyone involved in decisions to implement an ’enterprise project management (EPM)’ software tool.  

This is not a fundamentals course. Prior to taking this course, participants should have 

  • Hands-on project management experience 
  • Completed Project Management Essentials: Part 1 (or its equivalent)
  • Some exposure/use of project management software such as Microsoft Project (an asset but not required)

    She is a very good group discussion presenter and I only suggest to give more self experience of project management. The second date, I suggest to let group exercise about different type of buffer with real case projects. Write a charter, build the risk table or plan a schedule in MS project or Excel. If you don't have any project management experience this course is excellent. If you do have very good experience, you will have a reminder of good practices.

    The course is interesting, altough I would have preferred spending a little less time during the first day (introduction) to spend on current project situations. Use more real example of how the methodology is used in real life. Very competent

    Very good use of examples and exercises to reinforce the course material. Presentation of the course was engaging, and I have benefited from taking this course. Made good use of examples, asked if things were clear, offered explanations, asked questions to test understanding, provided helpful tips and tools. There is always new things to learn or to try, there is always room for improvement. The CMC training experience was very helpful in adding tips and tools to my toolbox.
