Great content, great instructor... We had a few 10 or 15 minute breaks each day, and it was not nearly enough time for me to be able to have a meal or walk my dog. Kind of ironic a time management course didn't do a great job of time management.

This was my first time accessing a CMC course, although my org has been attending for a long time. I loved it! I learned a lot of concrete techniques and discussed scenarios that applied to me. It was also super helpful to learn from my peers in the course, who had similar problems/issues and what their workarounds/attitudes to them are.

This course did not have to be a two day course. If a two day course, then it would be best if it was not two consecutive days so I can apply what I learned back in the workplace and can make adjustments when I come back a week later for day 2 Lew is very impressive and very knowledgeable. Her sensitivity to the subject should be highly valued. She is the ultimate subject matter expert; I'm a huge fan. She's a great communicator and has a sense of humour that is relatable. We were treated as adults and she was never condescending. In turn, I made sure not to reach for my phone in her presense even though she explained that we are all adults and she does not mind.

Anne is a fantastic facilitator. I think the content needs to get caught up with technology. Most people use Outlook/Smart phones not paper based resources to schedule their time. Too many examples in the course were focused on a typical person from the 80s or 90s. Amazing job Anne! Great course

There was far too much time spent on group discussions that we did not complete all of the pages in the provided course material. Discussions that should have ended after 2 minutes dragged on for 20+ minutes. While certainly knowledgable, the instructor should have had better control on the time spent on group discussions. I was disappointed in the lack of material covered from the handouts.

Francine is a gem of an instructor - moved things along and actively listened and applied to each participant at the same time. The content was appropriate for the amount of time. I felt that I gained significant value from the course and have already put habits into action from my learnings. She was wonderful - no room for improvement, she made the course so relevant and interesting.It was difficult to find the course location and it was not close to any local accommodations. The food was excellent and good quality.

Comprehensive and practical Francine was friendly, genuine and forthcoming. Refreshments and lunches provided were great! Classroom environment and equipment was really good too. A suggestion is for CMC to provide clearer/more detailed instructions regarding location of classroom (i.e., identify building where Gauthier salon (L) is located: Laframboise building at 233 Main). Not 223 Main (University has two large buildings on Main). Advise participants where the visitor parking is situated and the cost ($10 a day). Perhaps CMC can consider covering parking costs for these short term workshops?

Instructor was great - kept things relevant, made sure to continuously engage students in order to ensure our understanding and ability to apply the concepts and ideas. Content was good - some of the material could be updated - specifically, the older video and the content in the workbook about technology. Great - engaging, sincere, let the students speak their mind (even though a lot of it was them venting about their workplace :) ). When I say "sincere" - it wasn't just an instructor trying to plow through the material to get the day over with, with a smile on her face. She commented and provided "genuine" feedback when the students had a comment or inquired about something. Great first experience with CMC.

The course would benefit from some pre-attendance questionnaires (online or ortherwise) to save time in the sessions. The Booklets (would be better if hole punched) to fit in a binder. Case studies technology were a bit dated, but overall effective. Thanks Dean - fantastic job making the materials enjoyable and interesting.
Need to spend more time, or perhaps a better way of teaching & drafting SMART goals.

The course gave me guidance as to what "time wasters" I need to address to make my day more efficient. Anne ensured that all our questions/concerns were answered before moving on.
