Great facilitator ... great information. Thought the template for a "Persuasive and Motivating Message" seemed geared more at preparing for a presentation rather than how the speech itself could be laid out. I missed how to gain access to the handouts ... fortunately they were provided to the class at the beginning of the online session. Probably could have a bit more time for some of the breakout discussions.

This was a eye opener for me as it shows there are more commutation concerns when dealing with other managers I have recommend the facilitator to my organization to make sure they have her teach the content to others when signing them up next year Is there away that you can do the training else where as I would like to have 7 of my staff take this course next year. (i.e. come to our location)

Liz show adaptability by customizing the course from feedback and was gracious by sharing many insights from her experience. I had a few work issues directly relating to some of the course material and she provided succinct insight when I asked a few specific questions. This is such a valuable course, more time is needed to fully get everything out of it. It would be great if either the course could start earlier (8am) or if it was 2.5 or 3 day course. I do not think you would be lacking in stuff to do over an extra day!! Colin was fantastic. Easy to understand and able to provide real life examples to help us all understand material.This course was fantastic. Just need more time to learn and absorb it all. the lunches provided were great and it was helpful not to have to worry about running out and finding something to eat.

I honestly did not expect to enjoy this course as much as I did. Salima made me feel comfortable in this setting of complete strangers. I can't express enough how this course surpassed any expectation I had coming in. I didn't expect to learn so much about myself and my communication methods. I am truly excited about what I have learned. Salima is a wonderful facilitor who makes you feel safe in an environment where it can be extremely intimidating. More time should be allocated to Modules two to five. The pace was too slow on 1st day. Good facilitation by Bruce and the lady on Friday was very engaging. Friday facilitator was excellent. Bruce was very good. Location and venue was very good. More time needed on the last module.

I really enjoyed the course. Bruce and Dorothy as instructors were both excellent. I was hoping there would be more practical skills discussed and practiced during the course. For example, how to write a powerpoint executive summary going to an executive. I think less focus on soft skill verbal communication would have been appreciated. Again I liked the course overall, especially the instructors. I would recommend this course to a colleague if they want more practice in soft skills however, I do not think many of my colleagues need this kind of training.

It was a very revelatory course for me. I walked away learning something about myself that had never quite occurred to me and that I will have to work on. Dorthy was amazing. I really enjoyed the exercises and she was awesome in succinctly conveying what we needed to be aware of, in each instance. It was a very positive experience. The class size (no. of participants) was large, but it really worked out well in the end, there was an opportunity for multiple perspectives during exercise time since we'd get into new groups every time.

Lot of material to cover which could be divided into courses on there own Bruce was the facilitator the first day and obviously did not feel well because I heard he's usually more energetic. Dorothy was fantastic, intelligent, articulate great feedback. I wish we worked more as a class and not split up into individual tables. I would have enjoyed more of her feedback as 1 group. You miss out when assigned to small groups just focusing on one aspect or case. I found being divided multiple times a day into groups took away from learning about all aspects, cases because individual groups focused on different things. It would have been more productive to open the discussion with everyone. Dorothy had such great knowledge and I would have liked more informaiton from her and feedback with everyone discussing. Many individual did not want to participate in groups making it difficult at times.

The knowledge and experience Colin has could be better shared should the length of the course be increased.
Add content related to communication within culturally diverse organisations. In Canada we live in a cultural mosaic that is carried over to the business world.
2.5 days for the course could be justified.

I was not certain what to expect but totally enjoyed the material presented and wished that we had had more time to cover the latter half as we had the first half. We did however have a considerable amount of discussion relevant to our own work environments and this may have detracted from the course material. These discussions were in themselves quite valuable as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed Sheila's energy and insight.

Twice Sheila embarrassed me in front of the class - Once when I was actively participated in a "fun exercise" and didn't realize the role playing was still happening and another time when she stopped me mid speech and told me to breathe. At the end of the day we were all professionals that took 2 days off work to attend a seminar - We weren't even allowed to check our email throughout the day, even though many of us were managers. Also, the food provided both days was awful. The first day I even had to go buy something else to eat. Compared to the Toronto course where the lunch provided was incredible, I must say - I was disappointed.

I found the first day of the course is very dull. Neither the course nor the instructor was impressed. But the second day was much better. Felt more engaged.As my prior comments, the first day experience was "satisfactory" but the second day is "good".
