Overall really interesting course. I feel like the instructor had really interesting experience and would have liked to hear more from that (rather than simply the course material itself). I found the course very informative. Throughout my career I've seen decades of change and I wish would have had these tools many years ago. I will most definitely use what I've learned moving forward. The facilitator was top notch, he work very well with a mixed group. This is a good course on managing change She presented the course material with passion, personal knowledge, and skill. The room's desk arrangement in pods was good for group discussions and interactions, but it caused some poor viewing of the presented material at the front of the room.

The facilitator shared a lot of personal stories that took up a lot of the course time and were not always very relevant. I would of liked to hear more strategies on how to effectively deliver change to different groups and practical applications of how to get people on board. The facilitator called me out for using electronics in the course, although I was only taking course notes on my ipad. I believe that as an adult student, who paid to be at the course, I should have the freedom to take notes in the way that works for me and if I do need to stay connected to my work via email or other, I should be able to without being berated.

The training was well executed and the trainer did an excellent job, I had no idea how the time flew by. Usually most training courses feel too long but the material and discussions for this one kept everyone engaged. Sheila is a great instructor, knows how to get the group engaged and presented excellent examples of both professional and personal life. Also, loved the color book style of teaching. You can't get bored when you have 100s of colours to play with and learn at the same time.

Very interactive. Information from facilitator not included in the materials was also extremely helpful and created great visuals to retain information. He was engaging, added content not in materials, used participant examples throughout the course, demonstrating his comfort level with the subject.It was a great course. Would have liked a few more practical tips/actions for communicating with "strong" resistors - especially those where there is no option of parting ways. Otherwise, great course. Also appreciated that it was a very small group.

At times the facilitator put her own personal negative judgments on some of the changes the individuals at the session were leading. Judgments on the change itself. The change is happening in their world regardless of whether she agrees with it or not. She could have provided stronger support if she only focused on how they could lead that change.
