I thought the training was good. Learnt a lot of new team building skills, how to breakdown tasks into sub-tasks, designate workload and a bunch of acronyms. I was already familiar with agenda, minute taking and action items so that part wasn't really helpful to me. I did like being introduce to the charts (Gantt, Logic, Project Plan) and enjoyed the different ways they were presented. It was tailored for us to make the decision and find what works for me. Kirby has a great sense if humor and made it easy for us to open up to each other. Overall, I really enjoyed the training.

I found the material relevant and easy to follow. I appreciate that the templates have been sent to us electronically. This is very useful. I found that Reg connected with the participants. He was able to provide examples and support in the practice sessions. He is very knowledgeable also able to relate to real situations. Reg gave everyone time to ask for assistance and give feedback if required. Having tools to deal with conflict situations is very helpful. You never know when you will find a situation that develops into a conflict.

I enjoyed the course and found it to be thorough in detail and well instructed. Rej Scotland provided examples from his experiences that allowed the class to find relatable circumstances in their own lives. Well spoken, articulate, and approachable.The course was enjoyable and I found the materials to be thorough. The office was easy to find, lunch was provided and enjoyable.

Some of the content in the power points would have been beneficial if included in the book. (definitions, quotes) Lucie really knows the content and was able to present it specifically to meet the needs of our small group. She balanced the presentation for those that were sent to the course, and those that chose to take it. I found this course to be very effective in providing tools for effectively responding to and working with conflicts both at work and in my personal life. The instructor worked well with our small group and created a safe environment where we could be open to learning the strategies presented.

Lucie was a great instructor , she checked in often to be sure we were each getting what we needed from the topic. it was a small class and Lucie was very good at ensuring the talkative people got just as much time to work through their challenges as the non-talkative types. Contents are very helpful and can be applied to everyday life. Facilitator encouraged all of us to participate and ensured full confidentiality. Two days is doable in covering all the modules in the course but three days would be better. Made us all feel that we can trust him and the people inside the class. We were promised full confidentiality and he kept us engaged for both days. He also ensured no one felt judged when we shared our own experiences regarding to dealing with conflict. Smaller classes encourage participants to engage more in conversations.

Liz was a fantastic facilitator! She was very helpful in addressing specific situations, questions and concerns as they applied to me specifically. I learned a ton, and am glad to have the textbook to remind me of all the details later on, so I can continue to apply this knowledge.

Focus was primarily to cover the content of the textbook, which was just done over the two days. Left little time for exercises and discussions. I think the material should be limited in the text book and more focus should be spend in "coaching" from the facilitator, through role plays and discussion. I feel the facilitators are underutilized considering their background and abilities, but they are very "restricted" by the text book and having to cover all pages of it. Referring back to my previous comment.

The material and activities were muddled at best. The facilitator did not seem engaged with the subject. Those 2 things combined to make the activities incredibly confusing. The base material seemed like it was written in another language and just put in a translator. Multiple times the groups looked for direction on what the activity was looking for because the material was unclear, and no support was provided. It also seemed like 3 days of material compressed into 2 days , we worked over shortened lunches and stayed late both days and still skipped materials.

Marie- Claude was very good at making sure we were all engaged. It was a great deal of information over the 2 day course but will be able to review at later date.Once again, I found her engaged and a bit humorous and very friendly and knowledgable. Her teaching skils are user friendly. |

Previous facilitators used too many 1 on 1 role playing. These can be awkward but Marie C changed it up throughout the two days with group role play where it was more that 1 v 1. She made it easy to engage and interact!!

The activities were not well explained in the notebook or by the facilitator. I found myself asking other what we were to do and others were asking me what we needed to do.There seemed to be a lot of silence and pauses. It was slow moving compared to the other 5 courses I have taken part in at CMC
