Artificial Intelligence (AI) has moved well beyond experimentation. The vast majority of organizations surveyed report using AI in some capacity, and more than half say AI is now part of everyday work across the enterprise. Most respondents believe AI will have a positive impact on their organization, signaling a shift from curiosity to expectation.
At the same time, adoption is moving faster than structure. Many organizations report having an AI strategy, but far fewer have clear governance or guidance in place. Without that clarity, managers and employees are often left to interpret what responsible AI use looks like on their own.
The research also shows a steady rise in independent AI use. Employees are increasingly adopting AI tools to work more efficiently, even when training, policies, or leadership direction lag behind.
Key Insights from the Research:
- AI has moved from experimentation into regular, day-to-day use.
- AI strategy is advancing faster than governance and guidance.
- Independent AI use is rising as employees look for efficiency.
- Training is expanding, but many employees still feel behind.
- Confidence is growing, with less fear and more trust in leadership.
