I have taken a course like this before, years ago. This was more of a 'polishing up' for me, whereas the first time around it helped me drastically change the way I approached certain things. The effectiveness of a course like this is very dependent on the individual participant...if they aren't receptive or open to it, then they won't get much out of it.

How can I practice having difficult conversations?

Canadian Management Centre courses give you workplace communication strategies to help you overcome difficult conversations. You’ll practice using tactful, diplomatic language and effective non-verbal cues throughout the course. Communicating with diplomacy and tact training is instructor-led with exercises, peer-to-peer feedback, and group discussion.
