New Workshop Equips Leaders with the Storytelling Skills to Inspire, Influence, and Drive Action

TORONTO, July 2025 — Canadian Management Centre (CMC), a national leader in professional development, has launched its exclusive Storytelling Workshop for Leaders. The course is now available for private team delivery and for individual registration through upcoming public sessions in Toronto and online this September. Additional sessions will follow in Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver.

Strong leadership depends on more than expertise, it requires the ability to communicate in ways that earn trust, motivate others, and drive alignment. This workshop helps leaders develop that ability by using storytelling to connect more powerfully with their teams, influence decision-making, and move people to action.

“Leaders today need more than data and directives,” said Geoff Blackwell, President of Canadian Management Centre. “They need to connect on a human level. This program shows them how to use storytelling as a strategic leadership skill, to communicate with purpose, influence decisions, and create meaningful impact.”

Delivered by experienced facilitators with real-world leadership insight, the workshop blends practical storytelling techniques with hands-on application. Participants learn how to shape personal, change, and vision-based narratives that resonate across diverse audiences.

A recent delivery for a large Canadian mining company earned high praise, with participants citing increased clarity and confidence when communicating complex ideas and leading through change.

Organizations can bring the course directly to their teams, or individuals can register for public sessions as part of CMC’s broader leadership development portfolio.
