Canadian Management Centre has launched a new Storytelling Workshop for Leaders to help leaders communicate with clarity, influence decisions, and drive action. The workshop is available for private team delivery and public enrolment, with sessions beginning in Toronto and online this September and additional sessions planned across Canada.
Leaders are expected to guide change, align teams, and influence across functions. Yet many rely on data and directives alone. Storytelling helps leaders connect on a human level and make their message stick.
Leadership Storytelling Training That Moves People
This workshop helps participants:
- Build trust through authentic communication
- Clarify direction during uncertainty
- Influence without relying solely on authority
- Turn complex ideas into messages people remember
“Information doesn’t create commitment. Leaders need to move people, not just brief them. Storytelling helps them influence decisions and create alignment.”
— Geoff Blackwell, President, Canadian Management Centre
Applied, Real-World Practice
The workshop blends practical storytelling frameworks with hands-on application. Participants work on real workplace scenarios, not abstract theory.
Leaders learn how to:
- Craft personal leadership stories
- Communicate change with clarity and confidence
- Shape vision-based narratives that align teams
- Present complex ideas in ways that resonate across diverse audiences
A recent delivery for a large Canadian mining organization earned strong feedback, with participants reporting greater clarity and confidence when leading through change.
