There was a good amount of break out sessions to test the thinking which was good. I think Haywood did a good job, lots of personal examples and easy to talk to. I also thought it worked well with a small group in a virtual setting as we all became comfortable with each other and were able to share our thoughts.

I think Joe did a very good job of facilitating the 4 sessions. He brought additional insight and perspective that was not in the manual. He has strong communications skills. If I could offer one piece of constructive feedback it would be that when he recognizes shortcomings in the materials, he should adapt and/or offer to take the feedback under consideration so that the input might be adopted in future iterations of the materials. I found it a little frustrating that when the group identified opportunities to clarify content in case studies, for example, Joe said "The preferred answer is..." despite there being a disconnect between the content and the answer options.

This course, and the instructor, were fantastic. The only criticism I have is for the venue. The location of the classroom was in a high traffic area, which caused too many distractions. It was sometimes difficult to hear or focus on discussions because of loud noises coming from the hallway or shadows in the frosted glass doors. the venue is otherwise good. The location is accessible, parking is affordable and food was good.

I do not think the course should run with so few people. There simply is not enough people to allow for a full engagement. It did occur but in a two day session it took time for such a small group to get comfortable. The slides and handouts need to match up better - seems like some of them are not current. I would only suggest a bit more space to allow people to assess the content that is being delivered and time to bring forward questions or thoughts. At times it seemed a bit rushed to move into the next session.

Overall the course was good and very well presented. It re-affirmed a number of things i'm already doing and helped me open up to areas that could use further improve personally to enhance my approach to the larger hurdles we experience in a fast paced work environment. The Facilitator of the course (Roxanne) provided quite a bit of examples. This helped to cement the RED model that was introduced. To further help the participants to use this in the workplace, Roxanne gave us the opportunity to work in teans and to storm brain the concepts of not assuming, looking for fact and opinions and then arriving at the solution.
Roxanne lend some background of both her working and personal life which was very intriguing. With no doubt this has made Roxanne the successful consultant that she is today.
