Colin was an excellent instructor & focused on the right moments on what to lengthen. Colin has developed his EI where he exemplifies the behaviour. Looks for alternate techniques rather than what is in the booklet. It is helpful for those who struggle with "passion" for their job. Those who isolate others. Those that are willing to look into self discovery. It is the perfect step forward for my journey into finding what my next steps could be.

Wishing it was more personal - or also the opportunity to take one day and then come back next week for day two. Colin was fantastic. Wishing I had more one on one time with him as he is a huge wealth of knowledge, experience, empathy and compassion for not only the people in his course but also the content and purpose. Helpful for everyone despite if they feel they are emotionally intelligent or not

I really wasn't sure what to expect coming into this course, but it was incredible! I would suggest that attendees shouldn't take this as their first course, having a foundation really helped me to take away as much as possible. The material was very useful and we developed an action plan that I'm excited to put into practice! Peter was excellent. He encouraged a collaborative environment and for us to use examples from our lives; it offered perspective on real world situations.

There wasThere was a lot of content in our notebooks that was not covered in class. There was a lot of interesting content from our trainers findings/books/research that was not part of the material provided. 0 The room we were in had loud ventilation in one area which made it difficult to hear at times. The trainer went off topic a little too much.

The course and the materials did not follow along directly. We spent the first full day on model 1 and then covered the balance in the final day. There often seemed to be a disconnect between the slides presented and the book which was somewhat distracting and made it more difficult to follow along. Many of us were interested in module 3 related to stress and mindfulness so it would've been nice if the course were longer to spend more time on this area. He did a good job of encouraging dialogue and was able to gauge the audience and incorporate breaks at appropriate times.

Peter was a great facilitator with a wealth of knowledge and stories to share. It's always helpful to attend a course and have relevant stories that can be used to supplement the material to see a real-world application. I wasn't a huge fan of the lunch that was provided. The course is expensive and I felt that there could have been better options. The facility overall was great- I was very thankful to be in the front room that had the large windows with lots of natural light.

Less workbook and more scenarios and discussions. Use flip charts and work in pairs more. Shorten the day and have it over 3 day instead of 2. All work done during the day expecting to participants to do homework after putting in a full day is not a good idea. Don't use a timer everyone is an adult and if they don't come back on time it is on them .
