U.S. organizations will spend nearly $57 billion on formal training activities this year, according to Training magazine's latest "Industry Report." And despite the volatile economic situation, Training found that only 15% of the companies surveyed anticipated a decrease in their training budget this year. Obviously, even in down times, business leaders realize that there is a quantifiable link between ongoing, appropriate training and employee and organizational performance.
