The course definitely gave me some new tools to apply in my position. It broke concepts down and allowed for much group interaction/discussion. This and Don's experience and insight were truly invaluable. The only thing I would caution is the use of the STAR model so heavily in the course which created more of a public speaking focus.

Trainor has extensive knowledge on the subject matter. Examples on topics were realistic, relatable and would appear were coming from experience. I would have find it more interesting if the topic was adapted in today's management styles and trends, such as telecommuting.

Excellent, I suggest continuing to use this facilitator for this and other courses.
70s style videos about branding were dreadful, dated and not applicable in Canda - and really not useful to reinforce the concepts. Chapeter/Module 4 - learning objectives need to be rewritten - they are not realistic or achieved through the course.

The course contains great theory about leadership strategies and techniques. The different mappings helped me to put the different approaches into a better context so I can be more mindful and aware of them.
I very much appreciated Bill's enthusiasm, passion and dedication. It was great to hear all the examples from him and the other participants so one could relate to different situations. I would suggest to do less of group work with the elbow partner and instead do more group discussions.
Overall I really enjoyed the three days. Not only I learned about leadership techniques and strategies but also met great people that I will stay in touch with.

I really enjoyed the 3 days with Bill, he is great instructor with wealth of knowledge plus he brings such professionalism to his work made this course a highly recommended one on my list. The size of the class room was just right, there was lots of energy in the room, the team was engaged throughout the 3 days and at the end of 3 days we felt like we can continue on. Bill's knowledge of the material, past and present experiences and professionalism made this course my favourite so far. I will highly recommend this course for people managers, directors, or anyone seeking leadership position or looking to improve their skills in this area. Please provide this FEEDFORD to Bill. The setting of the room, the temperature and the availability of materials all contributed to the delivery of the course. Lunches were delicious, a lot of effort were put into preparing healthy lunches for the students, please provide this FEEDFORD to the Chef and team. Finally, I really appreciate the help of Sandy, Michelle and Bill for stepping out of their way on Monday morning to help me find a pair of reading glasses. I forgot mine at home that morning and was ready to cancel my attendance because without my glasses I cannot read. I felt handicapped that morning but once Bill and Sandy learned about what happened, they stepped forward and assure me not to worry and they will do everything to help me out. I felt so important that morning when Sandy and Bill left what they were doing and took it upon themselves to find a pair of glasses for me. Sandy shocked me volunteered to go the near by store to grab one for me. What an amazing staff at CMC! For me it was not about the course that morning but the amazing staff at CMC.
