  • Practice the leadership skills you are learning. Apply concepts through case studies, small-group exercises, role-plays and feedback as you work on leadership voice, compelling communication, strategic thinking and negotiation.
  • Apply tools and assessments to your own leadership challenges. Explore your leadership and negotiation styles, develop a business case, conduct a SWOT analysis, map your strategic network and consider how you communicate the value of your work and team.
  • Turn reflection into continued action. Capture key insights throughout the program, complete a personal action plan and use the Leadership Inspiration Journal to continue reflecting on your leadership growth after the course.

 Who is the Women’s Leadership Certificate Program designed for?

 What will I learn in a women’s leadership program?

 How is this different from a general leadership course?

This program combines core leadership skills with workplace challenges and dynamics that can affect women as they lead. You’ll explore leadership voice, biases that can influence how women are perceived, speaking up with courage and conviction, strategic visibility and organizational politics, while also developing broader skills in strategy, influence, business communication and negotiation.

 Do I need to be a manager to attend?

No. The program is designed for women who want to develop and demonstrate stronger leadership, whether or not they currently manage a team. The course emphasizes that leadership can be demonstrated at every level and focuses on skills such as influence, strategic thinking, communication and creating organizational value.

 Will I practice the skills during the course?

Yes. The program includes individual reflection, small-group exercises, case studies, assessments, role-play and peer feedback. You’ll practice skills such as presenting a compelling message, applying strategic thinking, mapping your network and adapting your negotiation approach, then bring the learning together in a final case study and role-play.

 What practical tools will I leave with?

You’ll work with tools and frameworks including a leadership-style assessment, the Results Matrix for compelling communication, a business-case structure, SWOT analysis, STAR storytelling, strategic-network mapping and a negotiation-style assessment. You’ll also complete a personal action plan and receive a Leadership Inspiration Journal to help carry the learning forward.
