They've seen their co-workers laid off, downsized and right sized. They've watched jobs get eliminated, functions get outsourced and business processes get off-shored. And they've survived. Organizations that work their way through such trying changes may find that dealing with the employees left behind presents challenges every bit as difficult as dealing with those who must leave.
