Derek is great. My 2nd seminar with him. Very engaging and personable. I didn't like the fact that we had to switch rooms between day 1 and day 2. The snacks that were set out on the hallway were "stolen" from other groups that were meeting in the same space. In the future snacks/lunch should be set up the room that the workshop is taking place in.

Only downside was the catering for the event. Same meals daily and very limited considering cost to our organization for attending.

The only area of improvement for consideration would be to eliminate the reading of material. Personally, I do not retain information when it is read.

Bruce managed the course content presentation well by mixing in varying activities, both individual and group. Changing up the composition of seating and members of groups ensured greater value driven out of the opportunity to meet and discuss matters with others. Bruce allowed for discussion to continue, where there appeared to be benefit, and initiated discussion where participation was lacking. Provided relevant "real world" examples when there appeared to be a need.I've been in a management role for some time and was looking for a course that would provide me with an opportunity to refresh and reset some of my style and approach to addressing certain management matters and issues. The course material did allow for this opportunity, and the in-class experience added to my learnings.
