Developing Your Emotional Intelligence

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Course Code: 32144

Without strong and effective relationships in business, our fast-paced, team-based and global work environments can’t function with peak efficiency. At the heart of this efficiency are Emotional Intelligence (EI) competencies that drive strong workplace relationships and greater productivity. Today we use EI as an integrated set of skills that underpin highly effective, fast-reacting and innovative organizations.

This course emphasizes the practical application of EI concepts rather than just focusing on theory. Through your active participation, you will learn and practice the EI skills that are the core of achieving personal awareness, connecting with others, managing stress, engaging healthy conflict and collaboration, and exhibiting resilience and optimism.

The opening activity on Day #1 was incredibly confusing for everyone. It tooks us a little while to find our stride and figure it out but when we did, we were golden!

Very knowledgeable facilitator and it was a very inspiring course. I liked the exercise, even though done individually, being a small group of 4 people allowed a more open and deeper discussions. I leant a lot and will definitely apply the EI in my day to day work. Thank you I will definitely recommend this course ! very good !

Less workbook and more scenarios and discussions. Use flip charts and work in pairs more. Shorten the day and have it over 3 day instead of 2. All work done during the day expecting to participants to do homework after putting in a full day is not a good idea. Don't use a timer everyone is an adult and if they don't come back on time it is on them .
