I liked that Dr Carmont uses examples that can easily be translated into our work life. The flow of the class works well for me. I like the various group activities that make you think as well as learn from others experiences.
Hi Marilyn,
It's been just over 2 months since I took your course at the Canadian Management Centre in Toronto Nov 8-10. What a great instructional session. I feel better-equipped to identify those situations and personalities that will enable me to manage more effectively, with better results, and I appreciate all the intensity and attention to detail you gave us in order for it to 'stick'.
The three-day format was just the right length in that it allowed us to examine topics in sufficient depth without getting too involved. There was enough detail to understand the concepts and the instructor brought it into focus.
I was very happy with the setting of the course. Having never attended CMC previously, I was unsure of what to expect. I especially like the way we worked in different workgroups and got to know the other attendees and find that our working concerns were quite similar. The CMC office staff was very pleasant and very accommodating.
I enjoyed the tools to use within the workplace as well as looking at ourselves and ways to make effective changes.
The course had excellent energy and flow with a very knowledgeable facilitator. The material was very pertinent to my skill level - it was a good match.
Marilyn was very captivating; she kept us from getting bored!
I think new managers and managers with little experience would find this very valuable, also, managers could use this type of program as a refresher.
Content was relevant and turned out to be what was promised.
